This is a full and open solicitation. It is the intent of the Department of Veterans Affairs, (herein afterwards referred to as VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System) to establish a fixed price contract for organ donor blood testing. The vendor shall perform HIV-1/HCV/HBV NAT and West Nile virus (PCR) testing on blood samples sent by the VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System. The HIV-1/HCV/HBV NAT test is a panel that includes 3 assays: human immunodeficiency virus (HIV-1), hepatitis C virus (HCV) and hepatitis B virus (HBV). West Nile virus (PCR) testing will also be performed along with the before mentioned panel. All assays will be run on the patient sample that is sent to the vendor.
