The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Integrated Service Network 7 (VISN 7), intends to enter into on a sole source basis, under the authority of VA Directive 1663, Title 38 U.S.C. 8153 (3)(A), section 7302 of this title." This contract is necessary to provide On-site Neuro Radiology Physician services, at the Charlie Norwood VA Medical Services, Augusta, GA., with Physicians Practice Group (PPG) an affiliate with Veteran Affairs (VA). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement based upon the Directive listed above effective May 10, 2018. PPG is an affiliate Medical Institution as registered in the federal System for Acquisition Management, and has a track record of providing high quality services to VA. This acquisition will be processed under FAR Part 12 - Acquisition for Commercial Items and will be made pursuant to the authority in FAR 15-Negotiation procedures for commercial acquisitions. The North American Industry Classification System Code is 622110-General Medical & Surgical Hospitals, and the business size standard is $15 million in annual sales. Only one award will be made as a result of this solicitation. This will be a firm fixed price type contract, for a Base plus five one- year Options.
