The following Veteran Administration Medical Center (VAMC) located at 800 Zorn Avenue Louisville, KY 40206 will be providing a solicitation for MAGNETIC RESONANCE IMAGING (MRI) AND MAGNETIC RESONANCE ANGIOGRAPHY (MRA) Exams, NAICS code 621512. Services to be provided shall include MRI/MRA technical services for VA Medical Center, Louisville, KY on patients eligible for care. All exams shall be under the direction of radiologists board certified by the American College of Radiology. The contractor shall provide a Compact Disc (CD) with viewer software to the VA Louisville Radiology Department. All protocols and interpretation will be provided by contractor radiologist. VAMC anticipates scheduled scans for two to three patients per week. On rare occasions, VAMC may require added service on short notice on an urgent basis. VAMC estimates 210 MRI/MRAs annually, with a possible increase due to referrals from surrounding VA Medical Centers. Contractor shall provide Magnetic Resonance Imaging/ Magnetic Resonance Angiography exams to accommodate claustrophobic and obese patients up to 500 lbs. The contract shall be for a period (base year) of November 1, 2007 through September 30, 2008 with option years to renew October 01 -September 30 for 4 additional (1) year periods. CPT Codes listed will be provided in the solicitation and may change annually as determined by Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). Services to include all space, equipment, certified personnel, contrast and incidentals will be included in the price.
