The U.S. Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity has a requirement for ketamine and norketamine assays to determine drug's concentration in samples of heparinized blood that has been centrifuged and frozen. A total quantity of 240 samples is requ ired. These samples will be from animal work done with swine. The goal is to know what percentage of ketamine is in the R and S form. Labs must have quality control processes in place and use a validated methodology.
