The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Richmond, Virginia intends to solicit a commercial item procurement for Home Hospice Services for a Base and four - one year periods. Vendors will provide per diem services for eligible beneficiaries of the VA Medical Center in accordance with all existing Federal, State and Local Regulations. This is a proposed contract action for services for which the government intends to solicit as unrestricted. The NAICS code is 621610, $11.5M. The procurement will be conducted utilizing the commercial item procedures of FAR 12 in conjunction with FAR 15. This requirement is subject to the availability of FY07 funds. Award will be made to the offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be the best value to the Government, price and other factors considered.
