Description:Contractor shall provide Tissue Processing and Staining Services for the Pathology Service at the San Francisco VA Medical Center (SFVAMC), 4150 Clement St., San Francisco, CA 94121 for 1 base year and 2 one-year option. The Contractor shall furnish all facilities, equipment, personnel, and supervision to provide a full spectrum of histopathology services. Such services include, but are not limited to, paraffin processing, embedding, cutting and staining. These services shall be provided at the Contractor's facilities. The Contractor shall pick up the tissue and cell blocks to be processed from the SFVAMC, Monday-Friday between 5:00 PM and 6:00 PM except for Government holidays. In addition, the Contractor shall provide the personnel and means to transport the specimens and finished products between the SFVAMC and the Contractor's facilities. This is a commercial procurement and a total small business set aside. Solicitation document RFQ will be posted on or about 4/23/2009.
