DESCRIPTION: The Phoenix VA Health Care System (PVAHCS), Carl T Hayden VA Medical Center, 650 E Indian School Rd., Phoenix, AZ 85012-1892 under the authority of 38 U.S.C. 8153 is soliciting information from responsible contractors that provide emergency liver transplant services and procedures for patients whose condition is so critical that they cannot be transported to a Veterans Administration Transplant Center (VATC). The VA is conducting a market survey to determine the availability and market pricing from businesses capable of and interested in providing liver transplant procedures to include pre-transplant and post-transplant outpatient services according to the current year's APC or Part B Medicare schedule for beneficiaries of the Dept of Veterans Affairs and enrolled patients of the PVAHCS. The North American Industrial Classification (NAICS) Code is 622110. Contract period shall be a base year with four (4) option years when awarded.
