The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 21, has a requirement for Durable Medical Equipment (DME) Services. DME includes: Hospital Beds (including side rails), Mattresses, Trapeze (bed mounted or free standing), Patient Lifts and Accessories, Bathroom Safety Aids (commode chairs, tub benches, shower chairs, etc.), Portable Wheelchair Ramps, Feeding Pumps, IV Poles, CCTV's, Manual Wheelchairs, Power Wheelchairs, Scooters etc.
Services shall be provided to beneficiaries of the VA Palo Alto Health Care System Zone. Major sites affiliated with this zone include:

The Government may solicit and award a contract(s) for one base year and four option years periods.
Interested sources are invited to submit a Capability Statement which succinctly address the following
items to demonstrate capability to provide the requirements of this acquisition.
a. Describe your capability to provide delivery, set-up, repair, instruction-in-use, pick-up,
cleaning, and sanitization.
b. Respond to orders within the requested times.
c. Provide education, training, and instructions on the item(s) provided to each Veteran at the
time of set-up or repair.
d. Ability to provide a secure, contained area, for the storage of Government-furnished
equipment equivalent to 1,500 square feet for each of the aforementioned locations.
e. Ability to obtain and maintain Joint Commission certification or equivalent.
f. Describe your capability to provide service 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, 365 days per
year as necessary.
g. Describe recent and relevant past experience with providing service of the same or similar
nature.
h. Provide business name, address, size, socioeconomic category, DUNS number and Cage
Code.
i. Please indicate if your company can provide service for the entire zone or specific locations
only.
