The Richard L. Roudebush VA Medical Center is requesting information from firms who can provide training of a registered Radiation Therapist in dosimetry. Applicants must have a board certified physicist for input into dosimetrist's training. Applicants must also have a CMD providing clinical training. Training requirements to include but not limited to dosimetric calculations for both teletherapy and brachytherapy treatments, three dimensional treatment planning, monitor unit calculations, IMRT planning, CT/MRI fusion planning, virtual CT simulation, contouring, fabrication of tissue compenstors, and calibration of specialized blocking. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes but responses received on or before April 29, 2002 will be evaluated.
