The 106th Rescue Wing requires the services of a Dentist for the monthly unit training assemblies (UTAs) that are conducted at the 106th Rescue Wing, F.S. Gabreski Airport, Westhampton Beach, NY 11978-1201. A dentist would be required to perform onthe Saturday UTA which is performed once a month totaling up to 12 days in one calendar year. Hours of Work are during the Saturday of the UTA 0730-1500 hrs (7:30-3:00). Break Periods Lunch - 11:30-12:00 hrs. Description of Work: Dental Exams to include Enlistment, Occupational Health, Gyn, and Non- Flying periodic physicals exams will be conducted in accordance with AFI 48-123, Medical Examination and Standards. Physical Examination will include an overall review of the mouth, dental status to include each type of physical exam. 1. Completion of prescribed forms in association with the above regulations and as indicated for each type of physical exam. 2. Must have a current license to practice medicine. Must provide documentation of license prior to employment. Location of Work: 106th Rescue Wing, New York Air National Guard, Francis S. Gabreski Airport, 150 Riverhead Road, Bldg 345, Westhampton Beach, NY 11978-1201 The Agreement with the New York Air National Guard would consist of: a. A non-personal health care service contract as defined in the Federal Acquisition Regulation, under which the contractor is an independent contractor. The 106th MDS may evaluate the quality of professional an administrative service provided by retains no control over the medical, professional aspects of services rendered. (i.e. professional judgments, diagnosis for specific treatment) b. Requires that the contractor indemnify the Government for any liability producingact or omission by the contractor, its employees and agents occurring during contract performance. c. Requires that the contractor, maintain medical liability insurance, in a coverage amount acceptable to the 106th MDS Commander, which is not less thanthe amount normally prevailing with the local community for the medical specialty concerned. d. Requires that if subcontractors are used, the medical liability insurance is the same as prescribed above. THIS NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATION ONLY.
