This is a PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE- The Minneapolis VA Medical Center requires the part-time services of a Board Certified/Board Eligible Colon-Rectal Surgeon. Surgeon must be an experienced Colon-Rectal Surgeon who has completed an accredited Colon-Rectal Surgery Fellowship. The scope of services required by the contractor includes: Provide colon-rectal procedures and surgery, Provide colon-rectal consultations, On-call emergency and back-up services. The NAICS code assigned to this procurement will be 621111 with a size standard of $10.0 million. The solicitation is full and open and multiple awards will be considered. Offers will be evaluated on past performance, technical ability, and price. Procurement is being made in accordance with FAR Parts 12 Commercial Item and 15 Negotiated Contracts. The solicitation will contain requirements for a 12-month base year with four (4) 12-month options to renew. Service will begin August 1, 2014 (or date of award) through July 31, 2015 for the Base Year. The solicitation is scheduled to be issued on or about July 21, 2014 and will be issued via FedBizOps Electronic Posting System at http://www.fedbizopps.gov.
