CDC intends to issue a sole source modification to Abt Associates under contract 200-1999-00007, Task Order 0006. The purpose of this modification is to address the research priorities by contacting subjects identified in the Georgia Telephone Survey under Task Order 0003, as having Chronic Fatigue Syndrome-like illness and managing the clinical evaluation of study subjects. Clinical evaluations will include but are not limited to conducting in-person interviews, administering standard psychiatric and other evaluations, conducting physical examinations, collecting specimens for triage, and classifying patients with CFS. The contract period will from October 1, 2003 through December 31, 2004.
