The NIOSH Field Studies Branch currently has a contract in place for Beryllium-specific Lymphocyte Proliferation Test (BLPT) with the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, PA. The University of Pennsylvania was the successful offeror under a competitive procurement conducted by NIOSH in March 2000 and was selected based on both cost and technical issues. For research purposes, we now require that any additional BLPT tests for this project be analyzed from the same laboratory to ensure the comparability of research data. This notice is issued for informational purposes only. Any interested party may submit a capabilities statement to be received in the contracting office no later than seven (7) days from the date of this announcement. Submit information to Brenda Goodwin, MS-1019, Reference: 03RDS2-037, DHHS/PHS/CDC/NIOSH/ALOSH, 1095 Willowdale Road, Morgantown, WV 26505.
