This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. This is not a request for proposals or quotes. This document does not obligate the Government to award a contract. The purpose of this document is not to provide notice of the Governments' intent to post a future solicitation. Responses to this announcement will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. After the responses to this announcement are reviewed the Government may issue a request for Proposal solicitation for Physiatrist Services under NAICS Code 621111. The Department of Veterans Affairs White River Junction VA Medical Center, VT is seeking sources for Physiatrist to work 4 hours per month( 12 clinic days per year) for a total of 48 per year to treat patients of the Veteran's Affairs Hospital at the WRJ VAMC, VT facility. The Physiatrist must hold a current unencumbered license to practice medicine in a State, Territory or Commonwealth of the United States or the District of Columbia. The hospital requires a Physiatrist who can perform all aspects Physiatrist Services to impaired patients who require evaluation, treatment , management, recommendations and a continuation of care (treatment planning with follow up as needed) specific to amputation and brace patients. Residual limb care and prosthetic limb considerations including adjustments, construction, customization and functionality as well as brace recommendations/considerations within the same scope as amputation care. Collaboration via virtual teleconferencing and or other electronic medium for inclusion of VA staff from alternative stations within and outside of VISN 1. Physiatrist must have knowledge of the equipment and supplies needed to assist in performing amputation and brace care.
