The Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences (USUHS) intends to award on a sole source basis with Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC), 2450 N. Street, N.W. Washington, DC 20037. AAMC provides two core services which the USUHS must participate in the Liaison Committee on Medical Education (LCME), the accrediting body for U.S. Medical education programs leading to the M.D. degree and the Medical College Admission Test (MCAT), a national standardized test used to assess applicants'basic knowledge and problem-solving skiils. One year membership is required to participate.
