The VA Black Hills Health Care System, Fort Meade, South Dakota has a requirement for a contractor to provide the services of one approximately .75 Full Time Employee Equivalent (FTEE), American Board of Radiology certified Radiologist, with clinical privileges to practice Radiology at VA Black Hills Health Care System. The contractor/radiologist must be a US citizen. The contractor shall provide professional (physician) guidance for all necessary diagnostic radiology services. Approximately 15,400 examinations annually including a customary mix of MRI, CT, Ultrasound, Fluoroscopy, and general bone and body imaging. The contractor shall provide reading, interpretation and submission of radiology reports on films as required by the VA. The contract is for one year, with 4 one-year renewal option years. VA will conduct the procurement according to a combination of FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, Part 15, Negotiations, and 38 U.S.C. 8153 for Enhanced Health Care Resources under Public Law.
