The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), Veterinary Services (VS) intends to issue a sole source order to Assured Information Systems Limited, 5 Colmworth Business Park Eaton Court Road, ST NEOTS, CAMBRIDGESHIRE, PE19 8ER, UNITED KINGDOM. The objective of the contract is for continued Maintenance-Support-Integration of the existing proprietary Pharmacovigilance (PV-Works) software acquired and implemented as Commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) software. Due to the proprietary nature of the software, the work can only be performed by the original vendor and will be a follow-on contract for maintenance.
This sole source procurement is under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 - only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirements. The NAICS code is 541519, Other Computer Related Services.
