LINE ITEM 001 - NSN: 3655-00-429-2896, PURGING UNIT, AIR, LIQUID OXYGEN STORAGE TANKS.

The purge unit removes excess moisture from liquid oxygen systems using hot nitrogen. It is designed to purge moisture and other contaminants from liquid oxygen storage, and transfer tanks; the purge unit accomplishes this by heating air drawn from the atmosphere and causes it to flow through the system. 

Basic Qty: 1-5 Each, BEQ 5;  Option I is for 1-23 Each, with a BEQ of 20;  Option II is for 1-23 Each with a BEQ of 20; Option III is for 1-22 Each with a BEQ of 20;  Option IV is for 1-17 Each with a BEQ of 15.

First article will be required of previously unqualified sources.  Also included are line items for data associated with first article, technical manuals and provisioning.  Shipments are FOB Origin, to various destinations.   Delivery is 210 Days After Award/Exercise of Option, as Applicable. 

One or more of the items under this acquisition is subject to Free Trade Agreements.  All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal or quotation which shall be considered.

THE RFP AND ASSOCIATED DOCUMENTS WILL BE POSTED TO FBO.  NO HARD COPIES WILL BE PROVIDED.  QUESTIONS RELATED TO THIS ACQUISITION MUST BE SUBMITTED IN WRITING TO THE POC LISTED HEREIN.  NO QUESTIONS WILL BE ANSWERED VIA TELEPHONE.  QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS WILL BE POSTED TO FBO; HOWEVER THE IDENTITY OF THE POTENTIAL OFFEROR AS WELL AS THE RESPONDENT WILL NOT BE DISCLOSED.
