Sir/Madam: The City of McAllen Parks & Recreation Department is inviting your company to participate in submitting an electronic informal price quotation for the referenced project. Interested bidders hall click tab labeled "BIDS". Once there, click "EDIT" and Bid Form will become available. Prices shall be submitted electronically. Support documentation shall be submitted as an attachment. Paper copy submittals shall not be accepted. Please quote on your best price DELIVERED for the items and/or services described. Bidders failing to specify brand name, number of days for delivery and/or variances/exceptions to the description for each item bid, shall not be considered. This information shall be entered in the "Comments" next to the item description. Bidders are asked to refrain from quoting on any item for which they cannot fulfill their commitment to deliver as specified. Bidders quoting on any item(s) and getting an award shall be expected to deliver items as promised. Unless otherwise specified, any catalog or manufacturer's reference or brand name used in describing an item is merely descriptive and not restrictive, and is used only to indicate type, style, or quality of material desired. If a bidder quotes on an item other than the one specified, which he/she considered comparable, the name and grade of said item must be specified in the "Comments" area of the bid form and sufficient specification and descriptive data must be attached to allow thorough evaluation. In the absence of these qualifications, bidder will be expected to furnish the items and/or services as called for. Bidders that submit pricing on comparable items are advised that award of such items is subject to approval of items offered. This approval shall take place upon initial order of items being delivered. If an item being delivered is not acceptable to the City of McAllen, the vendor shall be notified in writing. **THE CITY OF McAllen RESERVES THE RIGHT TO AWARD ITEMS INDIVIDUALLY OR IN ANY COMBINATION THEREOF**
