The US Secret Service (USSS) intends to negotiate and award on a sole source basis, in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, a contract to Remington Arms Co. Inc., of St. Louis, OH for the Model 870P Police Shotgun; Part # 870POL 12/14P MOD GRLPA XST SFI SF EXT1 with HG BFP; RAMAC #24933 for a one time purchase of three hundred (100) weapons.  This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals.  No formal solicitation package is available.  The Government will not be responsible for any costs incurred in responding to this notice.
