The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to issue a sole source purchase order to Accurate Chemical Corporation, 300 Shames Drive, Westbury, NY 11590, for 240 cases of five bottles each of Receptor Destroying Enzyme (RDE) Influenza Virus Detection 5 x 20mi eg 2 mg Kanamyon Sulfate Lyophilized, all of the same lot number, for WHO Surveillance Kits sent to Public Health Laboratories world- and U.S.-wide. Accurate Chemical Corporation is stated to be the only North American source for this product, which is manufactured in Japan. CDC believes that this requirement is met by only one provider. This procurement will be processed under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 and 6.302-2. Only one responsible source and no other sources will satisfy agency requirements. No solicitation is being issued.
