The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention contemplates the award of a sole source purchase order to Life Technologies Corporation, 5791 Van Allen Way, Carlsbad, CA 92008-7313, for purchase of reagents to be used in existing Life Technologies laboratory equipment. The following will be purchased: 4331246, capillary array 96x50cm each (2); 4335613, 3730 buffer (10x) w/EDTA 500ml each (9); 4337457, BDT V3.1 RR-5000 & Seq Buffer each (1); and 4363935, Pop7 bottles 2X (box of 5) (4). These will be shipped to CDC’s Atlanta facility. CDC believes that this requirement is met by only one provider. This procurement will be processed under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). Only one responsible source and no other sources will satisfy agency requirements. No solicitation is being issued.
