The US Secret Service (USSS) intends to negotiate and award on a sole source basis, in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, a contract to Heckler and Koch to purchase fifty (50) Heckler and Koch Model MP5A3 sub-machine guns;  part number # 090019-A5; Caliber: 9 x 19mm; NAVY trigger group ; with Retractable Buttstock P/N 217988; Front Sight P/N 700126; Rear Sight P/N 204998 installed on weapon with one magazine and sling.

 This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals.  No formal solicitation package is available.  The Government will not be responsible for any costs incurred in responding to this notice.
