The Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization, Information Technology Contracting Division, Hardware Section (DITCO/PL8322), Scott AFB, IL, intends to negotiate a sole source modification against an existing GSA Delivery Order with Chiral Software, Inc., 256 S. Robertson Blvd, Suite 103, Beverly Hills, CA 90211-2813 for the purchase of quantity 15 BIP-6000 handset kits and quantity 18 Printek FieldPro RT43 4” thermal printer kit which will make up a deployable ruggedized kit. These kits are part of a OUSD DPAP/Contingency Contracting initiative. This modification will be accomplished in accordance with FAR Part 8.402(f). The statutory authority for other than full and open competition is 10 USC 2304(c)(1), only one responsible source and no other supplies and services will satisfy agency requirements.
