The United States Coast Guard (USCG) Surface Forces Logistics Center (SFLC), Contracting and Procurement Branch 1, has a requirement for the purchase of Centrifugal Oily Water Separation Systems (OWS) for use onboard all 210' Medium Endurance Class Cutters (WMEC). The USCG intends to process a modification for the add-on of this requirement to existing Contract HSCG40-15-D-20959 as GEA Mechanical is the only known source with a product that has been CERTIFIED AND APPROVED under USCG Approval Series Number 162.050 for Oil Pollution Prevention Equipment and IMO Resolution MEPC 107.49, Revised Guidelines and Specifications for Pollution Prevention Equipment for Machinery Space Bilges of Ships. In addition to the above certification and approvals, the OWS System must meet or exceed the requirements provided for in the attached specification.

This award/modification will not be delayed to allow potential offeror(s) time to become certified or approved.

Questions shall be directed to Florence Harwood via email to [email protected]. All responsive and responsible firms will be considered by this agency. All responses must be received within five (5) days of this notice.
