This procurement is a sole source to Gerstel because Twister^TM is a patented product of Gerstel. This absorption bar enables us to extract aromatic amines directly from urine samples and the desorbed directly onto a GC for quantitation analysis. Direct extraction and direct desorption help avoid sample loss and thus improve the recovery of analytes and sensitivity of our assay.

As a result of this synopsis, no competitive solicitation will be posted on FedBizOpps. We will issue only one solicitation to Gerstel, Inc.
