This NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE is being published in accordance with FAR 5.203(a). The National Park Service intends to award a sole source purchase order with Joyce Anne Kircher of Beaufort, SC for a firm fixed price for the purchase McGee Revolutionary War artifact collection. This is a unique collection that can only be obtained by the descendants of Merle McGee. The objects have been on loan to the park for many years. Many of the items are either rare and are directly associated with historical events of Ninety-Six National Historic Site (prior to park status), and the Southern Campaign of the American Revolution. This private collection was assembled over McGee's lifetime. The artifacts are currently displayed at the park and cannot be replicated or obtained by other means. The assemblage of artifacts is a unique collection and directly associated with the Revolutionary War in the South and at Ninety-Six. The estimated dollar value of this purchase is $49,633.00. The NAICS code is 712110 with a size standard of $27.5 million. This acquisition will be made under FAR part 13. The anticipated period of performance for this requirement will be 14 calendar days which includes the shipping.
