Naval Criminal Investigative Services (NCIS) intends to award a sole source purchase order to BlackBag Tech located at 300 Piercy Road San Jose, California 95138 in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, and only one responsible source. The agencies requirement is for the purchase of MacQuistion. BlackBag Tech is the only known manufacturer/distributor of the software maintenance. Without this capability, the agency is at a reduced capability and would not be able extract forensic evidence. This service is already being used by the agency and would be cost effective to remain with BlackBag Tech. The determination not to compete the requirement will be at the sole discretion of the Government.
