This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice and in accordance with the simplified acquisition procedures authorized in FAR Part 13. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The office of NOAA Northwest Fish Ecology Division located in Seattle, WA has a requirement for a contractor to assist in determining the contribution of tidal fluvial habitats in the Columbia River to the recovery of endangered salmon ESU's. See attached detailed statement of work for description of services to be performed. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) for this purchase is 541690 with a small business size standard of $7M. The government intends to issue a firm- fixed contract with period of performance commencing approximately from date of award through Sept 30, 2010. All interested parties must respond to this announcement within fifteen (15) calendar days of its publication. Only firms that can provide the exact services described in the attached statement of work will be considered.
