The University of California, Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory is conducting market research to identify sources that possess the capabilities and experience necessary to fabricate a small quantity of dies or wafers from a prototype design which are intended for enabling low-noise efficient cryogenic sensor processing and control. Superconducting digital computing promises high compute throughput. LBNL is currently investigating potential scientific use cases for this technology and as such is interested in manufacturing prototypes. Please see the attched RFI document for full details and preliminary specifications.
