The Federal Bureau of Prisons is conducting market research in compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulation, Part 10. The Government contemplates awarding an indefinite-delivery, requirements-type contract with firm-fixed unit prices. The projected requirement is for the provision of Protestant Spiritual Leader Services as part of the Life Connections Program at the United States Penitentiary located at Leavenworth, KS. Services will be provided for the inmate population on-site in the Religious Services Department. The requirement is for an estimated 30 sessions (a session being defined as 1 hour in duration) to be performed on-site weekly. It is anticipated that a resulting contract will consist of a base year plus four (4) additional one year option periods. Each yearly contract period will consist of an estimated 1,500 one (1) hour sessions. The individual will provide general Protestant religious instruction and leadership for inmates participating in the Life Connections Program. Instruction will generally be of traditional Protestant belief but may also assist individuals who follow other faiths. Work hours will generally be during weekdays with some evening hours possibly required.
