This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. NAICS Code 711130, size standard is $6.5. This will be a 100% small business set-aside. Contract will be for one year of service from date of award with four option years. Each year of performance will consist of 120 hours of musicial support to the base chapel.


Contractor will provide musician services in coordination and cooperation with the Senior Protestant Chaplain and/or the Chaplain in charge of the Protestant worship service to include:
A. Provide piano/keyboard or guitar music at all regular Services in keeping with the nature of the worship service in consultation/cooperation with the Music Director and/or supply Chaplain, other musicians and/or the Senior Protestant Chaplain.
B. Provide music for special seasonal worship services as requested by the service Chaplain or Senior Protestant Chalain, to include, but not limited to Christmas and Holy Week services.
C. Participate in weekly rehearsals, not to exceed 90 minutes, with the Music Director, other musicians and singers for all regular and seasonal services.
D. Total hours of musical support are not to exceed 120 hours per calendar year of service.
E. Professional conduct - dress appropriately, arrive no later than thirty (30) minutes prior to each service he/she is scheduled to attend and fifteen (15) minutes prior to rehearsals to allow for preparations, and secure the doors you opened and used after hours.
