The Department of Homeland Security, Office of Procurement Operations, Federal Protective Service Acquisitions Division (FPSAD), intends to procure armed Protective Security Officer (PSO) services at various federal facilities in Virginia and Maryland.
This requirement is being solicited as a commercial acquisition in accordance with FAR Part 12 in conjunction with FAR 15. This procurement is a total women owned small business set-aside. It is anticipated that a single award, fixed price, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) type contract will result from this Request for Proposals (RFP). The NAICS code for this acquisition is 561612, Security Guard and Patrol Services. The size standard for NAICS 561612 is $22 million. The contract will be awarded for a five-year term, consisting of annual ordering/performance periods. In addition, there will be an additional 6-month optional ordering period pursuant to FAR 52.217-8.
The Request for Proposals (RFP) shall require the submission of a technical and price proposal.
A Pre-proposal teleconference is scheduled for 10:00 A.M. Eastern Standard Time (EST) on 12/13/2021. Contractors are required to email a request to [email protected], [email protected], and [email protected] no later than 8:00 A.M. the day of the teleconference. The purpose of the pre-proposal teleconference is to provide a comprehensive overview of the RFP, so that offerors can ascertain the general conditions that could materially affect the proposal price. Attendance is not mandatory; however, it is strongly recommended. Please hold off any questions you may have until after the pre-proposal teleconference.
