The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) intends to negotiate a one-time, sole source, fixed price contract with Guidance Software; 215 North Marengo Avenue, Suite 250, Pasadena, CA 91101 for continued engineering and integration services.  Based on market research and Government experts in the field, Guidance Software is the only vendor that can provide this service due to proprietary software rights and is the only authorized provider of the engineering integration services. There are no authorized resellers.  It has been determined that only this continued service can be provided by Guidance Software.

The FBI intends to negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1.  Interested parties may identify their interests and capability to respond to this requirement to the attention of:  Amy Lacy, email address: [email protected] by Tuesday, September 27, 12:00 Noon (Eastern).  Emailed responses will only be considered.  Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement.  A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is at the discretion of the Government.
