The Naval Air Warfare Center - Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ, intends to issue a firm-fixed-price purchase order for a quantity of fifty-thousand (50,000) gallons of Propane, P/N LLN010355, to be filled on a weekly or biweekly basis as needed located at the COMFRC ASE Solomons, MD from Taylor Gas Company (CAGE: 7LSP5) THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITVE PROPOSALS. It is the intent of the Government to solicit, negotiate and award a fixed price purchase order on a sole source basis to Taylor Gas Company, Lexington Park, MD. This acquisition is being pursued on a sole source basis under the statutory authority of Title 10, U.S.C Section 2304(c)(1), as implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, "Only One responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements." However, the Government will consider all responses received within fifteen days after the date of publication of this synopsis. Registration in the System Award Management (SAM) (https://www.sam.gov) is mandatory for consideration. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on the responses to this notice will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
