PROJECTOR AND AUDIO SYSTEM INSTALLATION

The 138th Fighter Wing requires a new, complete, and functional audio-visual system consisting of the items listed below. The contractor shall provide all equipment, installation, programming services and testing for a new audio-visual system at the 138th Fighter Wing, Tulsa, Oklahoma. The services and equipment shall contain the following:

1. AUDIO SYSTEM
a. Loudspeakers: A total of two (2) wall-mounted loudspeakers shall be installed on the existing sheetrock at the front of the stage. These loudspeakers shall be used for program material from the source equipment in the lectern (DVD player, laptop input, and permanent Government Furnished Equipment [GFE] PC).
b. One (1) amplifier shall be mounted at the projector location to power the two (2) loudspeakers.
c. Microphones: There shall be one (1) shock-mounted gooseneck microphone mounted to the lectern. This microphone output shall be connected via wire, to a custom panel located on the back wall of the briefing center. This microphone signal shall be used for connection to a GFE camera for recording purposes.
d. One (1) rack-mounted control processor which provides control functions, audio mixing, audio amplification, digital signal processing (DSP), and video switching shall be provided in the lectern.

2. LECTERN AND EQUIPMENT RACK
a. Lectern: One (1) multimedia lectern. The following equipment shall be housed in the lectern:
1) GFE PC and PC monitor
2) One (1) laptop computer interface (for GFE laptop video input)
3) One (1) DVD player
4) One (1) audio/video switcher/processor (to select between the above mentioned sources)
5) One (1) control touch panel (for system control)
6) One (1) control system power supply
7) One (1) control processor
b. Connection through stage: a four inch hole shall be cut in the stage floor. The lectern will be set above this hole. The following wiring shall run through the hole with in-line disconnects for:
1) Power Outlet
2) RJ-45 CAT5 (by Government) for network
3) High resolution video cable
4) Microphone cable
5) Loudspeaker audio cables

3. VIDEO SYSTEM
a. Contractor shall provide and install one (1) ceiling-mounted video projector. The projector shall be 3,600 lumens and 1920 x 1080 resolution.
b. Contractor shall provide and install and electric one hundred six inch diagonal, recessed projection screen. Contractor shall provide the screen back box to the general contractor. General contractor must install the back box in the existing sheetrock ceiling. General contractor must also provide 110VAC power terminated inside the projection screen.

4. CONTROL SYSTEM
a. Touch panel: One (1) 3.5-inch, color LCD touch panel shall be mounted in the lectern. The touch panel shall control the following:
1) Projector (On/Off)
2) Program volume for AV sources (Up/Down/Mute)
3) DVD player (Transport functions)
4) Projection screen (Up/Down)
5) Source select (Lectern PC, Lectern laptop input, DVD player)
6) System (On/Off)
Contractor shall prepare system drawings, purchase the equipment, assemble the equipment in their shop, program software as required and do in-shop testing prior to installation. Contractor shall assist and supervise end user in a run-through to train user in the operation of the equipment. Contractor shall be responsible for:
a. Providing line drawings for systems
b. Fabrication and installation of audio/video systems
c. Recommending required AC power and conduits, to be provided and installed by the electrical contractor, for the audio/video/control systems
d. Installation of low voltage audio/video wiring for systems
e. Electronic testing of audio systems
f. Tuning of audio processors
g. Testing and alignment of video systems
h. Pre-test and programming of customer-installed audio systems
i. Electronic testing and programming of audio systems
j. Tuning of audio processors
k. Training
l. Warranty service
A site visit will be scheduled so interested parties can see the area where the system is to be installed.
