The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) has a requirement for TAA and 508 compliant Programmable Keyboards. Interested sources should indicate their ability to provide at a minimum the specifications as listed and if available on GSA Federal Supply Schedules. - TAA and 508 Compliant Programmable Keyboard with minimum specifications as identified below, Quantity 1. The keyboard is to be delivered, tested and approved prior to the purchase of additional 499 keyboards. The total price to be evaluated shall be based on 500 programmable keyboards with minimum specifications as identified below. (1) Fully programmable (2) Minimum of 16 Function keys (3) Embedded numberic keypad (printed) (within the alpha keys) (4) PS-2 connector USB connection is acceptable. (5) Custom printing of keys - current SCRIPS keyboard layout is provided. (6) Section 508 compliant See Attachment for keyboard layout. Responses to this request may not exceed 10 pages. If a response is received that meets the IRS' requirements and analysis of both technical and pricing documentation indicate that a competitive acquisition would be more advantageous to the Government, a formal solicitation may be issued. Currently, no solicitation document exists for this requirement. Requests for same will be considered non-responsive.
