OVERVIEW
The Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) has a requirement to hire a full-time Personal Service Contractor (PSC) to perform the duties of a Program Officer in the Department of Compact Operations, Front Office.
SCOPE OF POSITION
The Department of Compact Operations, Front Office is seeking a full-time Personal Services Contractor (PSC) to serve as a Program Officer. The purpose of the work is to analyze and evaluate major aspects of substantive, mission-oriented programs. The employee evaluates the effectiveness of international development programs and operations and identifies and resolves problems and copes with issues which directly affect the accomplishment of principal MCC objectives. The employee develops regulations or guidelines for the conduct of program operations, or new criteria for measuring program accomplishments. Study reports contain findings and recommendations of major significance to management officials, and often serve as the basis for new automated systems, programs and practices. The PSC will be responsible for portfolio management enhancements, records and knowledge management, policy management, risk management, tracking initiatives and goals and other special projects.
PERFORMANCE PERIOD
The position is for one-year (2,087 hours), renewable for up to four years at the sole discretion of the government. The duty location is Washington, DC. More than one position may be filled under this announcement. Travel may be required.
CONTRACT AWARD
Any contract resulting from this solicitation will be awarded solely to an individual, not a firm.
