The Excalibur Program is for a Precision-Guided, Extended-Range family of 155mm projectiles that delivers precise, lethal, and cost effective fires at ranges up to 35 km and greater. The 155mm Excalibur projectile enables the maneuver commander to precisely defeat critical targets while minimizing collateral damage and unexploded ordnance. The Excalibur program is currently in the production phase and supports the requirements of the US Army, USMC, US Navy, Swedish Army, and other Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Cases.
The solicitation will be issued as a sole source effort to Raytheon Missile Systems, in accordance with 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii)(A) - Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will satisfy Agency Requirements. The Government anticipates awarding a single Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract to support FY18-22 requirements. The period of performance for this contract will be for five (5) years from the date of contract award.
