This statement provides notice that the U.S. Government (USG) anticipates issuing a modification for the addition of Firm Fixed Price (FFP) CLINs xx14 and xx15 for the production of MAGR-2K Unisolated Mounts and MAGR-2K Isolated Mounts, respectively, to Basic Contract FA8540-18-D-0005.
The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the Authority 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(4) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, “Only One Responsible Source and no Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements.”
No telephone or fax requests will be honored. NO HARD COPIES WILL BE ISSUED. Restricted to Raytheon Company (CAGE 4U884) due to Raytheon being the only source that produces the MAGR-2K asset for which these mounts are required, and the only company in possession of certifications required to produce these mounts.
Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement no later than 11 April 2019. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals.
