The United States Army Contracting Command, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama, on behalf of the Joint Attack Munition Systems Project Office, Program Executive Office Missiles and Space, is issuing this sources sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources/capability to support this requirement for Hydra-70 2.75 Inch Rocket System M151 Warhead in a wooden box NSN: 1340-00-725-9484 for Fiscal Years (FYs) 16 - 18. The anticipated requirement will consist of an aggregate total of up to 22,000 M151 Warhead in a wooden box.
The proposed North American Industry Classification Systems (NACIS) Code is 332993. It is contemplated that this award will be made on an "Other than Full and Open Competition" (OFAOC) approach in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1. The Government intends to award a fixed price, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract for this requirement. The anticipated contract period of performance is September 2016 through March 2021.
There is no Solicitation at this time. This request for capability information does not constitute a request for proposals; submission of any information in response to this market survey is strictly voluntary; the Government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred for preparation of responses to this sources sought notification or any follow up information requests. All responses will be considered. Extraneous materials (brochures, manuals, etc.) will not be considered. If your organization has the potential capacity to perform these contract services, please provide the following information:

If significant subcontracting or teaming is anticipated in order to deliver technical capability, organizations should address the administrative and management structure of such arrangements. Additionally, provide a description of similar services offered to the Government and/or to commercial customers for the past three years.
