The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to negotiate a sole source hardware contract with The Boeing Company (TBC), P.O. Box 516, St. Louis, MO 63166 for incorporation of ECP 6441 for the removal/replacement of EA-18G ALR-67(v)3 Antennas with placeholders. The procurement will be for 90 retrofit kits. Award of the contract will be made under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. TBC is the sole designer, developer, manufacturer, and supplier of the placeholders and special tooling. As such, TBC is the only source possessing the unique knowledge, experience, and technical data required to perform the described effort in the requisite time frame.
