This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice and in accordance with the simplified acquisition procedures authorized in FAR Part 13. This announcement constitutes the only Request for Quote (RFQ). Written quotes are being requested. A hardcopy written RFQ will not be issued. The office of NOAA National Marine Fisheries Service located in Hammond, Oregon has a requirement for large pair trawls specialized for sampling juvenile salmonids containing passive integrated transponder (PIT) tags. The entire Solicitation is attached. This procurement is 100% set aside for small business concerns under the North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) 314999 with a small business size standard of 500 employees. The government intends to issue a firm fixed price contract, the required delivery date to destination is no later than March 29, 2013. All interested parties must respond to this announcement within fifteen (15) calendar days of its publication. This notice is hereby issued as RFQ No.AB133M-13-RQ-01042. The following provisions and clauses shall apply to this RFQ and resultant award.
