Synopsis:
The United States Marshals Service, District Eastern Pennsylvania has a requirement for providing lunches to prisoners. Prepare and deliver an indefinite quantity of lunches each weekday. Lunches will consist of a cheese and/or turkey sandwich on kaiser roll, a navel orange, and a 12oz soft drink for prisoners detained by the US Marshals Service in the Federal Courthouse Complex located at 601 Market Street, Philadelphia, PA. The delivery of said lunches will require the delivery personnel to submit to established security procedures upon entry to the Courthouse Complex. Said procedures may include but are not limited to magnatometer screening and further screening such as pat downs and/or wanding. The annual estimated number of meals needed is 5400.

This is a combined synopsis/ solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice and in the attachments. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a separate solicitation will not be issued.
The solicitation number D66-Prisoner-Lunchs is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ).
This solicitation is set-aside for small business using NAICS code 722310 with a size standard of 1,000 employees.

This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular: 2005-93.
