The State of Wisconsin as represented by the Department of Administration, Bureau of State Risk Management requests Bids for Workers’ Compensation Center for Medicare Reporting Compliance Services (CMS Reporting Services), and intends to use the results of this process to award a Contract. The State seeks a Contractor to assure the State of Wisconsin’s compliance with the Federal Government’s reporting requirements associated with changes to Section 111 of the Medicare, Medicaid and SCHIP Extension Act of 2007 (MMSEA) which added new mandatory requirements for workers’ compensation including self-insurance, no-fault insurance and liability insurance reporting. Under MMSEA and effective April 1, 2010, the State of Wisconsin is required to submit reports of payments on specific claims to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).
