Description(s):
The 42nd Contracting Squadron at Maxwell AFB, Alabama 36112 is seeking a sole source contract with Ex Libris Group for the following: four Primo Online Subscriptions. The Primo Discovery and Delivery online subscription provides Fairchild Research Information Center customers, i.e. Air University students and faculty, with a quick, easy and effective search and retrieval tool, one-stop solutions for the discovery and delivery of local and remote resources, such as books, journal articles and digital objects. The Primo Central Index, an integral part of Primo, provides access to a mega-aggregation of hundreds of millions of scholarly e-resources of global and regional importance. The Ex Libris Group maintains proprietary software rights to Primo online subscription and to Primo Central Index; therefore, no other contractor has or can obtain the capabilities of providing a maintenance subscription renewal.
Subscriptions should allow access to Primo Discovery and Delivery and Primo Central. Maintenance includes: toll-free telephone number, email or web for Primo, to include bug/software problem fixes, software enhancements, upgrades, and revisions, with associated documentation, technical assistance and diagnostic support. The North American Industry Classification System code is 511210 with a size standard of $25 M. If no business responds to this intent to sole source a contract will be made with Ex Libris. If there are any other businesses that can provide these subscriptions, please respond to this notice before 12:00 pm (CST) on 15 Aug 11.
