Project Background
The United States Food and Drug Administration Center for Tobacco Products (USFDA/CTP) has been tasked with conducting various in vitro (cell culture) omics studies to support their regulatory mission. As a part of these studies, different tobacco products will be tested for their relative toxicity in a heart endothelial cell in order to mimic potential human cardiovascular effects from smoking. Primary human heart coronary artery endothelial cells for this work are needed since they are the best model for endothelial toxicity assessment after exposure to tobacco products in an in vitro cell culture system.
The Government requires pricing and ordering information for the following items:
1. Primary human heart coronary artery endothelial cells, quantity of 150,000,000 cells divided equally into at least 30 separate containers and frozen from the same lot. The cells shall be from a non-smoker donor.
2. Media and additives required for growing the cells for each cell container
3. Reagent pack for each cell container
Quote shall include any/all shipping charges, additional container charges, dry ice, dewars.
