The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Presidio Networked Solutions, Inc. for the acquisition of Presidio Bronze All-In-One 2.0 GPRS Package tracking devices. Presidio is the sole proprietor of these tracking devices and no other companies are authorized resellers of these devices. In accordance with FAR 5.207(c)(16)(ii), vendors that feel they can meet the Government’s requirements detailed above may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by the agency. The Government anticipates the award of a firm-fixed price purchase order. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. In accordance with FAR 6.302-1(c) the justification is attached with this notice. The acquisition will be conducted through FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotation. A Request for Quotation (RFQ) is not available. Closing date for submitting a capability statement is June 19, 2015 at 12:00pm Eastern Standard Time. All submissions shall be submitted electronically to [email protected].
