In general, the work consists of, but is not limited to the following: upgrading the existing POM building 838 DFAC (dining facility) fire alarm and fire suppression systems. The fire alarm system shall be a UFC (Unified Facilities Criteria) and NFPA (National Fire Protection Agency) compliant, Class-A, addressable, combination fire alarm and (MNS) mass notification system. The fire suppression system work includes repairing, modifying, and upgrading the existing kitchen hood fire suppression system in the kitchens and serving lines.
