693JJ621R000008 Predictive Scheduling System Development For Railroad Workers Synopses
The Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) intends to award a contract to identify whether there are current predictive work schedule system(s) that can be applied to the rail environment and whether the system(s) allow for considerations that are specific to railroad operations. The contractor shall conduct a review of the relevant literature on work schedules and fatigue to guide the development of a rail-specific predictive work schedule. Also, the contractor shall develop, test, demonstrate, and evaluate a predictive work schedule system and create a plan for implementation and scalability of the system.
Interested parties must have the experience in predictive work scheduling, human factors or human capital management, and should understand the railroad or transportation industry.
This procurement will be processed using FAR Part 13 and FAR Part 35 procedures. Solicitation 693JJ621R000008 is anticipated to be released on or about 16 August 2021 and the anticipated award date is 20 September 2021. The solicitation will be made available via email to interested and capable parties. The closing date for receipt of proposals will be established in the solicitation.
